How was he planning on swallowing old wally? It reminds me of watching a toad try to swalllow a dead grass snake that had rigor mortis. Snake half way out of the toad, you could see where it was poking his insides. Toad looked kinda panicked.

I haven't see a snake around here all summer. Now I will see 12 today. Great!

Looks to me like the snake is trying to get away and is not going to make it.

If I was there with somehing to hit or shoot that thing with I can assure you the snake would lose.

Katy, There are some very fine, sensible people posting here. Lammie, VanC, Cowgirl. A number of others that can be counted on are waiting in the wings.
But Katy, I'm afraid your taste regarding such matters leave much to be desired. Seems like you may have fallen in with the wrong crowd. i hope you will come to your senses before it is too late.

That snake really doesn't look that big. I've seen bigger ones on PBS the Anocondias are bigger around and long, massive snakes. I think this one is just a baby in disguise ;-)

Well, Chris, one thing about it...ya' gotta admire that snake's work ethic.

Roughly how much does a WallB weigh and about how long is one? Or how long do you think the snake is? I can't make out any proportions of scale.

With the exception of the snake and the dead rat in the water, it sure looks like a good place to spend a hot afternoon with a cooler and some friends.

GMN you are about the main one , other than Chrisy's pictures, causing the bad dreams and shaky nerves. :drink: :drink: :drink:

Hope you are satified with yourself.

I watched this show once they said in Africa there are snakes so big, they can outrun a man running, and take him down. Plus the Anacondias live and mate in water, and on this PBS show I remember there were 2 researchers, actually going into the river with them, it was like a big snake fest, even that gave me the creeps a little. I think it would be cool to see a snake that big someday.(As long as it wasn't chasing me)

an Adult Wallaby which this is by the looks of it, weighs in at 30 - 50 pounds and is 2.5 ft tall and has a 3ft long tail.......

I have seen an Anaconda at nearly it's full size in the London Zoo, it's head was as big as a dinner plate, it was about 29 foot long and weighed in at 550lbs it's girth was 12inches. but the Reticulated Python it was in with was longer, we were told a lot of people get the two muddled up the Anaconda is not as long but is heavier and rounder than the Python, I must say I was glad they were behind glass, as I wouldn't want to come face to face with one of them.
