It was on National Georgiagraphic. That's one of those elusive Georgia hippo's.

One of the strangest things I ever saw was a herd of cows feeding on the banks of the pit river in northern California. It was spring and the water was still cold. There were several cows standing in the water up to the middle of their shoulds. Ever now and they one would stick its head and neck COMPLETLY under water and come up with a big mouth full of green algae. Would have done a moose proud.

Anyone else ever see cows feeding this way?
