RoundUp before planting Bahia

How long do you have to wait after spraying a field with Roundup, before you can broad cast and disk in Bahia seed.

I was thinking the roundup would not affect the seed since it is a topical application. Is this correct???????????

Wait until the Roundup makes a good burn on the grass/weeds.
Depends on the growing conditions.

Landscapers/Sod folks usually wait at least 7 days before tilling and laying sod.

If the grass you are disking is high/thick enough, wait until it's dead and set a match to it. The field will disk much easier.
MUCH easier.

I didn't think about burning it, that definately will make the area easier to disk.

It takes about two weeks for round up to burn down a stand. The longer you can wait the better. I like burning it off with fire and disking or chisel plowing.
