I just got my 1st show heifer. She is a Star 5 and has lots of hair, I have been told to rinse her twice daily, but do i have to blow her dry both times?
Also any suggestions on how to make her stop throwing temper tantrums whenever she feels the blower? (she kicked the guy helping me fit her in the jaw yesterday  )

You should blow her dry both times. That will get train the hair to get it going the right direction.

During the winter we only rinse them once a day, but blow out and work the hair twice, once after rinsing and then before the evening feeding. We start rinsing twice a day as the days get longer.
We have a steer right know that does not care to be handled, he gets better every day; it is just a slow process. When blowing her out make sure you have her head tied high and no slack in the rope, just be ready to cut her loose if she freaks. If you are working her in a shoot (we do not work them in a shoot) try throwing a rope around her flank and tie her to the side you are not working from. Tie the rope firm but not so tight as to hurt her. Sullivan’s sells a clamp that does the same thing.
Be consistent and take your time and remain calm, she should get better as you go.
