i was looking at my cattle today and i saw three had ring worm. One has a ring worm right under the eye can anyone help me with a treatment for this ring worm?

there's various ways but heres what i do:

if they are not show cattle, i let it run its corse.

if they are show cattle, i take a wire brush and scrape all the dead crap off everyday and put Kopertox on it.

i know there are other ways but thats my method.

do a search. this gets asked about every week, if not more.

we have use iodine spray and it has seemed to help. When people get ringworm at the office, we tell them to get Tinactin for athletes feet. If they are show cattle and in the dark, it is more likely they will get it. Oh ya, fluid film for tractors will fix it too.

I use one part Clorox to 10 parts of water and bath the area every other day for about 10 days and it seems to work.

Just leave them out in the sun. Let them graze in the field.

Box stalls and pens are great breeding grounds for this stuff.
