Reporters shot

Some evidence that he had left messages and it was a hate crime. The shooter had been fired from a job where these reporters were working. But wait since the shooter was black and was shooting whites we can't call it that.

The manager of the news station said today they had to call the police to remove him from the station when he was fired but I believe it was several years ago. No matter the reason it was a pretty sick thing to do.

I noticed that too Kenny. He confesses it is racially motivated but this one is just another example of too much gun violence according to the media. The anti gunners are rallying as we speak not a word from the race people though- coincidence I think not. A true tragedy no matter the cause any way you look at it.

Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, his upbringing, his environment, his culture, his mental state but … after a shooting, the problem is the gun?

I know a guy that Interviewed this racist for a job back in the 90's he recalled last night that he distinctly remembers him ranting about previous employers during this interview. Needless to say he did not hire him at that station back then.

He was a black queer and no one liked him. He was just another deranged person, that blamed his troubles on someone else. This is just another reason why everyone should have a pistol in their pocket, and know how to use it.

Paying attention to your surroundings could also be beneficial..

I agree. I watched the video that he posted and he was standing right next to these people. He's a sick SOB and I'm glad he's gone.

I don't agree that everyone needs to be carrying. Not b/c I'm anti gun, but rather anti-idiots with guns. Not everyone has the same intelligence level, common sense, TRAINING or skill level needed to protect themselves or others.

I'm still trying to grasp this one. I have read it several times. I have mulled over it. You normally display a whole lot of sense.

I cannot grasp someone being to ignorant to protect themself. A dog will protect himself. What's his IQ?

You have a valid point with dogs. Dogs have, comparably, lower IQ's than most humans. When a dog is in a fight, it will protect itself to survive. If its owner tries to intervene, sometimes said owner gets bit by their dog. It's because that dog is in the heat of the moment and doesn't realize who it's attacking, it's just in defense mode. I want to survive just as much as the next guy, and I trust myself to make rational decisions in a serious moment. However, I know, having taught and worked in the medical profession, that not everyone has the same intelligence level. There are certain people that will just react and take out a bunch of innocent bystanders because their instinct to survive kicks in, and conversely, there would be a ton a people who would actually do a good job at defending themselves and others. I just don't want to be around the idiots with guns who will shoot at anything that moves.

Cain slew Able and man today thinks he can stop murders that have been going on since the beginning of time.
It aint happening no matter the weapon be it a rock or a rocket. When a human has reached that point he will find
a method.

Valid point CB, and I am not in any way suggesting more "gun control" but in the bigger scheme, I do firmly believe we each are still and always, "our brother's keeper".

I agree GB....just seems like, nowadays, there are so many brothers and not enough keepers.

I watched the shooters video. What strikes me as weird is three people, the reporter the camera man and the interviewee where all there, standing what appears to be by themselves. up walks a fourth person filming with a cell phone......... Points a gun at them for maybe 10 seconds and not one of the three bothered to notice someone with a gun pointed at them is just a very few feet away until bullets fly? As Sky said be aware of your surroundings.

States used to institutionalize these people today they try and mainstream them through inclusion.
The porch light is not burning behind that thousand yard stare they seem to share in common.
The monkeys are loose in the zoo.

I believe in weapon control because I don't think crazy people should have access to weapons that they would use to commit hate crimes.

Wonder if he would pass a federal background check?

Just how hard do you really think it is to get a gun without a background check. With a phone call I could buy almost anything I would want and pick it up tonight if I had the cash. Do you think a crazy person tries to buy a weapon the legal way?
