What breed are the roan colored red and blue cattle? How tall are your cattle compared to the Limo bull that you have bought?
I see dandelions in your pasture. Did we give them to you or did you give them to us??? :lol2:

Red roan is out of 1/2 BB cross cow, sire is AngusXSalers. Blue roan cow is 1/2 BB cross. Blue roan heifers are out of 1/2 BB cows, sire is 1/2 Angus out of 3/4 Limousine bull. That young bull is lower than our cows or elder heifers( his weight should be ~1200lbs, while cows weights are 1430-1760lbs, elder heifers weighs about 1210-1430lbs, young heifers ~ 900-1000lbs). If compare with ~1 year old heifers, he probably is abit taller, as all other our young bulls.
White heifer is 3/4 Charolais cross, but in this photo she don't look like she looks in reality.Maybe tommorow I'll take better photo of her. She's a sister with another 3/4 Charolais cow I've posted pictures of a couple months ago. That top 1/2 Limousine cow has very goods calves, if to think that Limousine's bull which semen we've used(father of that 1st heifer) isn't the best choise, his calves are good looking just if their dams are good looking.

You've mentioned Saler, and I can see it in tails of some of the cows.

They all look pretty meaty.. there are some I like more than others of course, but everyone has those

You can see Saler in tails? Well, we've one cow with Saler blood and 5 heifers with it. Just one heifer of them is in photos.

Thanks everybody. I also think they're going to be good cows: most are gentle and almost all should have calves from our Limo bull, so some calves will be 7/8 Limousine.

When a cow is already exhibiting external parasites as bad as the cow in the first pic, you can guarantee they are over run with them internally.

you must have some crystal ball or something.. aint no way to guarantee that

You'll have to excuse his argumentativeness. In early summer, when you have certain individuals that don't shed out like they should and that exhibit bare patches of hair from rubbing, the generally accepted protocol would be to worm these individuals as its thought they are afflicted with parasites.
