I saw a Stones concert in 1972. Indianapolis Convention Center. The smoke was so thick you could cut it with a knife, and it wasn't Marlboros. Now, we're in a tizzy because one guy might smoke a Marlboro as part of the performance. Is it just me, or did we get dropped on our heads somewhere along the line? Not that I'm old and grumpy or anything like that. :lol:

No John....it is because they now know what smoke inhalation can do to people. we weren't dropped, we were educated. ;-)

I saw the Stones concert in Hyde Park in the late 60's. that was brilliant. :lol:

Took my children to Washington DC. Just outside DC in Maryland it was illegal to smoke in public. I mean you could not light up on the sidewalk. They said it was offensive! Later, I was touring around with my children and there are two gay guys french kissing at the bus stop groping each other butts. My kids had never seen anything like this - nor had I. I found that offencive - but that is OK!!!!!

Yeah, we were dropped on our heads ----- from the space shuttle.

Saw a good bumper sticker "In Moscow, I can still smoke at a restaurant".
