Red river crabgrass

It is a big user of N if you want maximum results and will require spring soil disturbance to allow full reseeding. Good selection but both mentioned are costs.

I did just under 20 acres last spring and it came up good a made seed by late June. Then it quit raining for nearly three months . The rain that finally came in late October has a carpet of new seedlings up. This will all be wasted seed since frost will get it before it makes seed. What's left we,'ll have to wait till spring to see. I definitely see the potential, just had bad luck with weather. If we had got our usual September rain I would be looking at a full stand now. No doubt.
I do recommend buying the mixed new and aged seed. It gives you a cushion in case of unfavorable weather.
