Hi all,

With the new job I don't get to post as much, but I still try to keep up as much as I can.

If anyone remembers, I have a red beefmaster that had her first calf last year. She's back again this year with a brand new heifer calf born on Christmas day. Middle daughter promptly named her Rudy after Rudolph the reindeer. Her she is still wet.

What a nice X-Mas present ! Nice looking cow and calf. What was she bred to? I have 2 beefmaster cows ready in a week or so...

She was bred to an angus plus bull (angus x brangus) That combination seems to work well with the beefmasters that we have.
