cut a field of fescue and red clover yesterday...what would be best ...tedder with dew on or bar rake it couple times ...? thanks

Run the tedder thru it again and again until the stems are dry. Clover is deceiving it can seem dry but the stems still have enough moisture to mold and heat.

Ted it in mornings with dew on. Otherwise you'll sling the leaves off.

The weather we have right now I'd leave it lay in the swath for 5 days then rake around 10 o'clock the morning after it was "definitely dry enough to bale."

Is it mostly fescue with a touch if clover? Or mostly clover?

I baled some clover a day sooner than I should have a couple weeks ago. Got worried for a week or two but they've stopped sweating/heating.
