Red Angus "dappling"

Over the summer our RA bull has developed that dappled look you see in some other RA bulls like Cherokee Canyon. Is there any reason for this or is it just a normal color pattern? Just wondering...

Just one of the variations, like the occasional blackish markings around the muzzle and and the eyes.

Might be starting to fade. Has he been out in the sun a lot?

Completely normal color variation. More obvious on short summer coats.

Its a bloom and its evident on really healthy animals that are thriving.
