Ready for the trip to town?

I have seen that quite a few times on shalow cattle guards. They can tell the debth.

The ones with no sides like that. I have seen them walk right right up to the corner of the post and cg, and jump to the other side. Too smart for their own good.

One heifer walked a cattle guard with a swing gate. She would duck under it as she walked between the pipes. It was pretty amazing.

I had a cow that would walk the flat of the cattle guard. I didn't see her, but my uncle did. We finally had to hang a rope across the cattle guard with some cans hanging from it. It kept them in, although it was kind of pita for everyone, but it worked. I am pretty sure those railroad guys didn't like it.
