Your local feed store probably has a bagged ration already formulated for your area, with different protien variations. I usually feed my local mills 14% ration until they're around 900 lbs then go to 12% and start adding more and more corn til fat. Not saying I do it perfect, but it has worked for ours. Some need pushed more than others of course.
