3 way We'll wait a couple more years until these invasive, destructive, disease carrying, lice covered SOB's make their way up to Colorado (and they will, just give em time) and we'll see what your opinion is then. When they destroy your crops and hay fields, root up your yard and moma's flower beds, kill your baby calves, sheep, goats and baby deer we'll check your pulse then.

My next gun is going to be a Saiga shotgun. Looks like a great gun to have in the truck.

I won't either but with hogs I take shots I usually wouldn't with other animals. Its like if there is a rattle snake cutting thru the grass and all your can see is its body.... you take the shot. Im not cool with people who have good shots but choose to gut shoot them so they run off. Thats not right IMO.
 
The mini 14 is meant to be a pretty close range gun and your are getting what you pay for with .35 ammo. The benefit of it over an AR is its more forgiving as far as being dirty and stuff. ARs can be quite a bit more accurate but are a little awkward IMO to carry in the truck.

There are some nice AK47s that are pretty compact. They can be very reliable and accurate. Good prices on ammo. Kind of the best of every thing.

There's usually at least one good reason a gun model is still around 65 years later and just gets better and better. ;-)
 
I really enjoy my sks for varmit shooting. And the brown bear soft point 125 gr I can order for $4.89 for a 20 round box.

Well I priced it high enough that I can play with it for a while if it dont sell. If it sells ok, and if it dont I am having fun with it. Cant say it is super accurate but neither am I.
 
Well I traded fo a brother to the ranch rifle this weekend. It is a Ruger Target ranch rifle in 223. Someone else must not have like how accurate the ranch rifle was but liked the action. It is lots more accurate but a heck of a lot higher also. Got a Osphrey scope and thumbhole laminate stock also.
