!6, that is an example of longevity, I hope you have retained some daughters. You are right, trees, mountains, limited horizon have me feeling hemmed in quite quickly, I think I could handle a little less cold though. :)

okay Dylan,

you opened the door. I take a lot of photos but I far from have a good camera. I have what is now a dated HP photosmart M525 digital which is only 6 megpixel. My wife gave it to me for Christmas a few years ago.

tell us about your camera.

I have a gal in my office who has a digital camera and paraphenalia that cost about as much as my truck.

can you suggest inexpensive middle ground.
 
Jim mine is a few years old, this the same camera, link below. Not cheap but less then a new truck. :) I use mine to take all my stills do very little video. The zoom is good, and a good zoom is critical. My daughter has an expensive camera but my little JVC works. The battery doesn`t last long though, at least for me cause I snap like a fool.

DB, I tell you what...I'll show up next spring after it warms up a bit and take over all the managerial stuff....collect the perks that go with the job and you can sort of kick back and continue convalescing until you're 100% fit. I'll do mostly office type managing but when time allows I'll ride around and enjoy the scenery a bit too....I even got my own camry. ;-) :cowboy:

wow....that is not much more than I paid for my little HP.... about a hundred if I recall. I really like it but do wish I had more zoom. we are beginning to have a good number of eagles and I want to get a photo of one and never can get close enough. even though I have had them perched in trees on my property.

I often carry my little camera when riding and use it all the time for work. A picture is sometimes truly worth a thousand words in my job.

hmmm...I've read too many of your posts HD and there is entirely too much intensive labor going on around your place. I'm looking for a "position", not a job and as long as DB is in "recovery" and as long as I keep him confined "I'm in charge". :mrgreen:

PS....HD do you have a hot tub and a pool? I might let you put me on retainer. :tiphat:

Jim I updated the link to my exact camera, after my darling wife was ableto find it for me.

maybe......

but I experienced a day once where actual temp was minus 22 and the wind was howling.....
nearly froze...
made a deal with the good lord that if I survived that day and that winter he would not find me so tempting him again.

i survived and I left that cold place.
