I'm thinking about buying some sort of cattle managment software. I looked at whats offered by lion edge, but I was just wondering if anybody had some other suggestions.

You might look into CattleMax and Cattleworks. Both of them offer a free 30 day trial and if you do a search on these boards you'll find posts, by people that use both of these software packages, talking about both (plus some other ones). Hope this helps.

I use CattleMax 2006 and like it a lot. Very user friendly. Cost? Approx. 150.00 For Commercial SH (small herd, 50 cows or less) You can check them out at http://www.CattleMax.com
