Rainey Day pictures

It has rained all day here the sun finally peeked out this afternoon and I grabbed the chance to take a few photos of the weaned bull calves. This is the group we will choose four out of to send to the Florida Bull Test on July 29th. Jacob also sent me some photos of the Millet fields at the farm, we will be turning the cattle out onto the fields next week.












We had over 4 inches of rain at the farm today, so we sure didn't get much done today. But I guess once in awhile it is kind of nice to do nothing!

The rain was welcome. Pretty millet, good luck at the bull test. We took two to North Alabama a couple of weeks ago.

Just a note the houses in the background are not mine our house would fit in that one lol. The red brick one belongs to our oldest son, he isn't involved in the cattle operation but sure helps us out a lot working on our equipment in his shop. Oops I didn't post the picture with the red brick house.
