Starting to look like April.....but few are in a hurry for Summer to get here.

Don't blame folks for a worrying about summer. We are getting the best rain last night and today we have had in while.

We gOt 4.5 inches yesterday . Headed to the farm now I was told there was a tornado in the area . I sure hope nothing is damaged . I'm still worried that the summer is gonna be dry . Guess we will have to wait and see .

4 stock tanks are flowing over. Another old tank has never been full and it is almost flowing over.

Last summer I was hauling thousands of gallons of water over and over. Not this year. If it does not rain again the rest of the year, the cows will have water.

Had to get out of the house at 1 a.m. Wednesday to ensure I could teach a seminar. It is a good thing I woke up and decided to go ahead and get out. The whole neighborhood was stuck in this development with the creek flooding all day Wednesday.

Showered about 2 minutes last night about dark...that was it. DFW tv still says 60% today but not sure on that one.

It's been raining off and on since tuesday night . I had to move the cows out of the ryegrass because they were ruining more than they were eating .

Not today Caustic, got a stiff SE Wind wind blowing right now but we did get 1/10 Wednesday night and another tenth yesterday afternoon....(over 2 inches just east of me). Did get 2.2 inches last week.

Not today Caustic, got a stiff SE Wind wind blowing right now but we did get 1/10 Wednesday night and another tenth yesterday afternoon....(over 2 inches just east of me). Did get 2.2 inches last week.

Doorbell rang when I got there it was two beavers, one standing on the shoulder of the other.
They wanted to come in and dry off.

Started drizzling yesterday about 2...rained off an on all afternoon and then all thru the night...A really nice rain. Even starting to get soft and muddy like a Winter is supposed to be. Haven't had a chance to check the rainguage. Guess that's what happens when one has gotten plenty rain short term. Am anxious to see how much ran into the tanks.

Precipitation map shows 2-4 inches..... :shock: ....Hope everyone else has the boat loaded up...

we got a tad over an inch last nite an this morning.we have water standing in the pastures still,havent seen that in a while.
