Rain

Well see, I've started to try to have some in by the first of April in case it turns off dry by the middle of May.... Just can't count on June and July rain anymore. :D

My ole ground is so hard and cow stomped I don't know if a no-till would do the job. It might after a couple days of rain like this.

I don't know exatly how much it rained yesterday and last night, but at least an inch if not more!! WooHoo!!!
May even rain some more over the next few days.. I've got the air off and the windows open.. soo nice..

According to the weatherman,we got 2.70 inches!!! We have chances of rain 'til Tue.. WooHoo!

We actually got 1/2" earlier, and now it's raining again. It's not supposed to be this dry in Louisiana; if we don't catch up on rain soon, they'll have to start calling us "east Texas". I'm working cows tomorrow, rain or shine - don't mind the rain at all!

I'll have to second Peg's Woohoo!

Sure wish I could send our rain to you guys. We have had enough. We have mud knee deep and hardly any of the farmes have their crops in. Some that do are going to have to replant. It is just to wet here.

Same here, wish I could send the rain to the ones who need it. We've had too much this week and supposed to rain again today. Fields that had already corn up went underwater, everything is a muddy mess and we can't get work done.

Saturday and today without rain.Got my yard mowed. Think I could have bailed a couple round bales from it.

Monday I get to put clips on about a mile of fence.5 wire and post every 15ft.WOOHOO!!
What a boring job. Anyone know how to pull one clip from that little plastic bag without 20 more coming with it?
Better take plenty of OFF,skeeters are gonna be out for blood after all this rain.
