the rain an wind hitt here after i layed down.but the wind wasnt that bad,an im glad it wasnt.but we did end up with an 1 in of rain from both rains.
 
Count your blessings. It's said God causes it to rain on the just and the unjust alike. I fit in there somewhere but I haven't seen rain since August and that wasn't much. It's been May 2008 since there was any significant rain here. Things are looking real bad here in southwest Texas.

Not sure what a cyclone is but I think that's what I got last night. I thought the roof was gonna blow off before it was all over with!
 
WHOO! winds upward of 40mph and real heavy rain,for bout 20 min :frowns: could have used the rain for a good hour..greatfull
for what we got.... (sorry bout spelling and such,just back from chemo,and have 'fannypac',so not very coherrent~~~think i;ll go lie down now

I am hoping and praying for an early tropical storm in the gulf bring us some much needed rain.The way things look that is the best we can hope for in South Texas.Don't know how long this drough is going to last and when it will break.But the way the past few have done,it comes too much at one time.Severe drought to severe flooding.A few inches several times a month sure be a lot better.

We're getting some "fizzle" (fog+drizzle) this morning! Not much,but will help the grass.. :welcome:
supposed to get perhaps thunderstorms tonight :banana: ..Just as long as no tornados,I'm all for it.. :D Mabe farmers/ranchers will get enough not to sell out yet....
 
Sure hope this isn't supposed to be "the chance of rain". Don't mind it piddlefarting around, but I'm ready for it to get down to business.
