Started this morning low off the Gulf we are at 6 1/2" with 4 to 6 more predicted. No going to town we are flooded in.

You're hurting my feelings there boy!

Bragging again, huh?

Glad ya'll are getting it! Save us some. ;-)

we've been getting a few showers just about every week...keeping everything green and growing 'round here

We have a 90% chance for tommorrow and 60% chance for the next day. I was going to cut hay tommorrow. But i will gladly put that off in exchange for a little rain.

Mike I would love to have sent this North, East and West to share, this has got to the point it ain't funny anymore. And there are a whole lot of people on this board that needed it a lot worse than I did.

We got about an inch and 2 tenths this morning and now it is hot and steamy. We have been really dry and could use another 2 inches. The ponds around here are really low.

Send me some CB ya know where I live.

Got 1 1/2 inches last night. Knocked out the electricity at work, and ended up milking using generator power for 1 hour. Rain came a little too late for the crops, but we still are grateful.

We have a narrow squall line going through right now. Lots of T&L and some rain. Won;t last long though based on the radar image.

My husband is headed to Lake Charles in a rental car right now and he says it's raining where he is. He didin't know where "it" was, though. He's got to crawl under a lady's trailer house when he gets there! Yuck!

It was cloudy yesterday morning, but no rain. We haven't had any since July 4th.

We'd trade you a little drought so you can get out of the house.

Murphy's law at its finest.

Our prickly pear is still green this year.

We didn't get any then, either. Am I starting to whine? I think I'm starting to whine.

All ponds here have been reduced to mud and slop holes. Watering everything we have right now out of tanks at the house. Grass has either turned to straw or is pretty much non existant. I think we have a slight chance for pop up showers today. Can't remember the last time one of those actually hit us. My mother-n-law records the rainfall for the county ASCS and we went back through her records... the last run-off rain (more than an inch in 24 hours) we had was last year on August 13th.

I know I shouldn't covet my neighbor's rainfall totals, but I can't help myself!!! One of the local salebarns has run over 8500 head through in the last three week - an increase of 67% over last year. Over 25% of that 8500 are momma cows going to the packers. Please pray for rain ( for those of us who need it)!!!

I really wish I could get some of that rain. Got about a 1/4 of an inch on Saturday and thats been all for about 8 weeks. Grass has long been dead and ponds are real low or dry. I usually put up around 325 to 350 round bales with extra to sell. Last year put up 150 and this year have 86 and there is no more to cut. Its really sad!!!
