Thanks to all of you. I had a good day. I helped my daughter-in-law first this morning. Someone had given them a goat a while ago and they were getting tired of it. She asked me to help her get it to the auction barn, so we did that. (We hauled it in the back of their pickup, and she drove, so maybe no one recognized me. I hope she realizes I wouldn't help just anyone with a goat.) Then my wife took me to Houston to some used book stores. Traffic and weather was bad coming home, but we made it okay. Stopped in Hempstead for Mexican food, and came home.

My family and a couple of friends are getting together tomorrow evening for prime rib. I'm really looking forward to that.
