Just got an email from a friend of mine , who rodeos all over the U.S.

He was telling me almost everyone is barbequeing chicken at their campgrounds.He asked a few Rodeo goers & a few R- calfers, why Chicken.... They told him beef was too much money.......Nows thats kind of funny :lol: :lol: :lol: not
 
Frenchman the best thing cattle producers could do for our future ios to encourage the formation of an R-chick and an R-pig to tear down those businesses from the inside. Just liek they're doing to us in the cattle business
 
Years ago I also chased rodeos across the country so I know this first hand. With the exception of those few at the top, rodeo cowboys are generally extremely short on funds. You combine that with the fact that eating is not at the top of their priority list. Entry fees, gas money are at the top of the list. If these guys are eating chicken they must have been winning a lot lately.

Dave- I was thinking the same thing- spent a few years chasing up and down the road and we spent most of our time dining on hot dogs and greasy burgers.......Definitely never had time to barbeque.......

Pretty sad when you can,t even afford hamburger for the grill.
