will a brown swiss bred to a hereford throw a brindle calf?

I guess it probably depends on the dominant and recessive color genes carried by each animal, but I would doubt it. Brown Swiss have dark skin so I would guess they would be mostly dark in color. Here is a picture of a 3/4 swiss and 1/4 hereford:

Might not ever time but it can happen. Seen a lot of brindles out of Brown Swiss crosses.
