There are a lot of people who castrate at birth, and there are an equal number of people who wait to castrate until branding (usually a month or so old), because it generally allows the calves to grow and put on weight better due to the testosterone in their system. The band (along with the scrotal sac) should fall off within a week, possibly two.

OK I fill better now. As far as making sure there were in the scrotum I’m not that sure, the man wow did the castrating is in his late 80’s and has don many of them when he did it he had me fill the scrotum and said fill them there both in there, but I didn’t fill any thing??
