They are both extremly high in protien. Cotton Seed may be the lesser priced. A lot probably depends on what area of the country your in as far as price.

For a supplement for an animal you may want corn Gluten or a protein that helps break down forage in the Rumen. For Milk production you want a protiein that passes through the Rumen. And will go to such things as milk production. Such as soybean Meal.
