So who thought that Prince was making a sexual innuendo with his guitar and the silhouette during the half time show at the Super Bowl?

What about the dew rag on his head? Looked like cotton pickers from many years ago.

Still was not as bad as Michael Jackson or his sister
Dont know why they have all the fruitcakes sing during halftime.
Dont think diehard football fans like them either. Rather see the local high school band play. I guess money is the name of the game these days.

Dont worry Aplus, He'll soon be on Okrah, the View or Dr. Shill explainin' his self. You watch all them shows, so it'll be OK. I promise. Maybe you could put up a bid to clean his house or sumpin. Them spools will be hard to vacuum up though.

Just read the entertainment section on Fox's website. They loved Prince's performance!

I'll bet! Suprised to hear you reading on Fox.

Don't necessarily read Fox...I read lots of different news sources from CNN to Fox to MSNBC...etc. I like to get all sides of any story before I make up my mind on anything. If you've done a google search before you know that you get lots of hits on the information provided in the search. Fox's was one of them, and I figured if Fox didn't find anything wrong with it, it must not have been anything to get too upset about.

I watched the half time show. I don't think he was being nasty. I sure didn't see it that way. Looked like he was just playing the guitar. If someone has a dirty mind they can find that sort of thing in a pattern in the wallpaper.

MHO, he is a fruit cake, he dresses like a woman, never heard any of the songs he performed, and all he needs is more lipstick, eye makeup, finger nail polish, and he will look just like Crowder.

It's ok Chowder, she heard about my 4 bagger comment and stopped by on her way out. I told her you were madly in love with her but there is 3rd person involved in your life. She said no problem I will by his place and take care of it.

It was a whole lot better than last year's Mick Jagger or the year before last when they had the Beatles. I like both, but didnt think much of their performances. I thought Prince did a decent job.

Was Prince's pose phallic?

"The short answer is, of course it is," says Rolling Stone magazine contributing editor Gavin Edwards, who points out that on Prince's "Purple Rain" tour in the mid `80s, he performed with a guitar that would ejaculate, squirting water out of its end during the climax of "Let's Go Crazy."

Either way you look at it, Prince is a weird sick person. I wish they would give us a half time show that would rock, but still represent most of America! I say Charlie Daniels Band Next.

Who would you like to see?

I think Prince did great. Sounded just like when I was a kid. That man can wail on that guitar. You know he had Hendrix posters all over his wall when he was growing up!!

I saw CDB at a casino near here within the last year, having last seen him a couple times in the late 70's.
He wasn't particularly sharp in his fiddlin', running a lot of notes together.
Performers who can do stadium shows are few and far between.
I'd love to see George Strait get the gig, but he doesn't use enough explosives in his shows.
I'm thinking monster trucks might be about right for a super bowl halftime, followed by a crew of illegals who re-sod in time for the 2nd half.
How about the flyover? You could bet in Vegas on how long the national anthem would last. Billy Joel must have tipped the squadron leader to exactly how long it would last because the flyover was there on the last note. Pretty rare. Billy and the squad leader might have placed a bet on that one.
Joel's anthem was good but far from the best I've heard.
