I didn't know your gals were such high maintenance. Mine have been complaining about the pasture decor. Told them they had to continue with that old drab color barn for a while. If I put a fresh coat of paint on it my property taxes will go up. New fence, clearing brush, and everything like that increases property values in the eyes of the tax man.

If I put a fresh coat of paint on it my property taxes will go up. New fence, clearing brush, and everything like that increases property values in the eyes of the tax man.

Seventeen of those girl's were bought calved out and resold this fall.
They also paid for three years worth of stockpiled hay for 30 head.
I only keep eleven full time girls since the drought, restock in the spring according to pasture conditions.
I am never going to run as many full time again.
