Our son Eddie's cow Duchess had her third calf yesterday, a heifer. Duchess was born on September 23, 2005. I think that is pretty good for a cow that just turned 4 years old. Duchess is Eddie's Houston Livestock Show scramble heifer (now cow). She was bred AI and had the heifer on the due date. The sire is an Angus named Diversity.

Her first calf "Howard"

Thank you. She is a full blood (original) Braunvieh.

This is shortly after he got her. She was about 7 months old.

Best way to tell is if ya see the black nose with a white ring around it think beef brown swiss or braunvieh. Gelbviehs may have a black nose if they are that color but Ive never seen any with a white ring around it.

She is a nice looking cow, good udder. How did the Angus X Braunvieh calves grow out? Like some others have said, I would want to AI her to a good Braunvieh bull at least once and see what she could produce.

Wow she looked awesome at 7 months old.

I think if she is fb and papered you should defiantly AI her to a fb or at least pb deep pedigreed bull. You need to push her potential...
