Mom used to take our jeans to the cleaners to get them pressed when they were new. You take them off the line our out of the dryer, put the creases together, and they are a piece of cake to hang on a clothes hanger henceforth.
What has happened? You take new jeans to the cleaners now and they press them all skewed. Creases through the back pockets and the press seams come up the inside of your legs. They'll never be right!
Bought two new pair of Wranglers last week. Boss lady took them to the cleaners. When I picked them up they were all wrong again. The lady tells me, "You guys..." and I said stop right there. That's all I need to hear. You're a yankee. Then she goes on and commences to tell me they are blue jeans. Well hades yes they are. I am paying the same amount of nickels as if they were my dress pants and I expect them to be pressed just like that. I don't want the press lines coming up the inside of my legs. Tossed them in the trash can on the way out just to make a point.
Second time this has happened. The first time another place laundried them again and repressed them giving me two creases :D Once they are ruined, they are ruined. Could have kept them for trash pants but I have plenty of those already.
