How often do you use a pour on as part of routine management?

We use cylence once a month for flies in the summer, and cydectin once in the spring and once in the fall as a wormer.

We pour on wormer twice a year once in the spring and then 6 weeks later to get the eggs. We do not use pour on for flies but use minerals with fly control.

So I should only worm 2x a year? Once, then again 6 weeks later? Or is there another product that I should use?

Check the label because I was told after the first dewormer you had to do it again in a few weeks because the first dose does not kill the eggs. I could be wrong though.

Deworming in the Spring and Fall is normal. My vet also suggests to deworm about mid summer or so if the pastures are short and run down a bit. I think I will probably do that this year as well even though we are having some good rainfall. Another thing the vet likes for me to do is to switch products pretty often, which I guess makes since. I like to use injectable though.
