Possible eye infection?

One of our calves' whites of both of his eyes is pinkish-redish. I just noticed it today and he has had no history of eye infections or problems. However, he's not squinting and his eyes are not watering either. Our 4-h advisor is coming out tomarrow to check on it. The redness has not apperead to go down or gone up. All of our snow that we've recived lately has meleted away and it's still pretty muddy in their pen.

At the risk of over simplifying, it could be an allergy or irritation from dust inthe feed, pollen, probably about anything other then dust if you're still muddy
