Possible A-I calf

How many days have some of you had A-I calves late? I have one that could go either way I think. I waited 14 days to put bull in but That would have put the calf in question born on the first day (14 days latefrom A-I date) I didnt see any of them in heat but I dont live with them 24 hours. Guess I can DNA test.

If you turned the bull in 14 days after the AI date that would still be from 3-7 days before she would come into heat before. An AI sired calf follows the same ruels as a natural service calf. 14 days early or late is still considred normal

Was the birth weight noticeably high or low? If it is out of the AI breeding it was 14 days late and probably would have a higher BW. A calf born 7 days early from natural service could have a lighter birth weight. It's likely this won't help but it was just a thought. DNA would be your best bet if you want to be certain.
