I know a guy who was asking me if he could just call the association and ask if he could have them because he lost his. Now this guy is older and thinks he can do whatever, but can you tell me what you would think they would do. So then I can tell him what he has to do. Oh and he knows who he bought the cows from if that makes any difference. :cboy: :cowboy: :D :D :D

Don't really understand your question....Were the cattle ever transferred in the first place?
If not, he could not get the papers unless transferred buy the original owner.

If the cattle were transfered then yes for a fee I am sure. If they were not then unless the previous owner transfers them no.The way I understand it anyways.

Any chance of calling the AHA and talking to them and maybe they can answer any and all of your questions ...... Just thinking.

yes, he should call the association to get his questions answered. They should be able to look up his membership info and the cattle registered in his name. Most associations will issue duplicate papers for a fee.

I would not be a go between.
