I thought about harassing a rattle snake enough to get coiled up and ready to strike. Take its picture and then kill it. But all I have been seeing are little 20 inch ones. It would be embarrassing to include a picture of one that small.

the last pic reminds me of some cows I had.. had them 10 years, and every time they saw each other they'd get to fighting.. I don't know what unresolved childhood feud they had but they sure kept a grudge!

Looks like a cover for the drain tile outlet. Supposed to keep the coons and other varmints from blocking things up. It is hard to tell in that tall grass.

I hadn't noticed it before. But that makes sense. That's one mean, wet, nasty looking 'coon.
