#1 looks almost like some of the areas we've driven through in Southern Alberta, i.e., Battle River area...probably my favorite part of Alberta next to the land in view of the Rockies.....

I knew #5 had to be from my Neck of the woods. All were great pictures.

That's right M5, the #5 pic was taken here in my back yard but pine trees planted in rows like corn, plantation pines, are a common landscape feature of the southern coastal plains.

Took mine in Caesarea israel - Really is more a pic about architecture than landscape. It's a 1st century Roman Aqueduct build to bring water from Mt. Carmel to the city. I really had another totally different I wanted to submit but after seeing these other beauties it didn't have a chance either. :lol2: Those are some awesome pics. GP East Texas has a lot of that plantation pine as well.

GP East Texas has a lot of that plantation pine as well.

We all would like to see more pictures of your trip TB when you get a chance to share them . Never been to Isreal , was supposed to go one year and we were advised not to travel because it was extremely volatile at that time(when is it not :roll: ) and then we never made plans to make the trip again and now the family member that had wanted to travel there has since passed .

#1 was taken just a bit south of Mankota, Sask. In the short grass prairie of Southern Saskatchewan. Probably only about 30 miles from the Can/USA border, in September. It was really green for that time of the year. I was on a trail ride.

Mine (#3) was taken 18 miles north of Lytton BC, on the west side of the river... There's stunning country all the way from lytton to about 40 miles north of Lillooet...

Hillsdown, you're not even that far away.. you can get here in a day's drive, though you'll want a day for this trip, and a 4x4 vehicle if you want to take the trip north of lillooet... I can give you a map and a few sneak previews.

HD, I think I really felt safer in Israel than I often do here in the US. I never once felt threatened.
