pole barn post anchor

I am building my pole barn and I am using a 1/2 rebar drilled into the telephone pole at a 15 degree angle 2 feet down in the hole and slide the rebar in the pole and then cover with cement anyone ever try that?

That's what I did on the poles I put in the ground for my hoop shelter wall. I drilled a hole horizontal with the ground about 3 feet below the surface and put a rebar through the pole so it stuck out both sides and made it long enough so it was just short of touching either side of the hole. Then I filled her up with concrete. It's held so far.
