Pointers for catching your housecat

We have a year old house kitten that we let outside for playtime when we are out and about but it is hard to catch to bring in. It always wants to run away as if playing a game. So we thought if it wants to play we will use the laser pointer we have to play with it and get it playing and catch it that way. Well it works great. Just get the cat enticed with the dot and work the dot towards yourself and soon it is right by you so you can pickup the cat. It has worked so far, the cat loves to play about chasing the dot of light. Time will tell how it works in the long haul.

I don't have any cats. I would like one but the hub hates them.

My cat dosent go outside. On the couple of occasions that my dog let her out, she came to me when I called her name. ;-)

I have found a .22 will keep cats home, or at least in one place :nod:

Only cats allowed around here are ones that live in the barn and catch rats and mice. If they don't abide by those rules they are called TARGET.
