My pasture is very thin due to the cold weather. Can I no-till Sudan straight in it or do I need to spray it with round up first. This is in Central Ky.

You can no till right in no problem. We used to interseed Sorghum Sudan in hay fields when they got thin the last year of production.
The problem with it is that when it's under 14" tall it's toxic to cattle . We have used it in rotational grazing, but if you don't strip graze the cows tend to waste a lot. You don't want it to go to seed. We graze ours then now it off with a bat wing, keep the cows off until it's knee high then turn them back in. It will get over 6' tall if you let it so if it's thick it can be a real trick finding young calves that had momma hide them.
Overall it's good feed, just requires some management.
Good Luck.

I knew about prussic acid that can happen but I never thought about the regrowth when it gets that short. Thanks.
