I believe there is a Pinzgauer sale in Tn coming up in May. I would like to go and check it out. I contacted their association by email and left a message @ their phone number a couple of weeks ago and haven't been contacted so does anyone on here have any info? PM me if you'd rather. Thanks.

Thanks Frankie! Believe it or not I did google it and found a lot of stuff but not the great info you did. Must not have typed in the magic word. Thanks again!!!! :tiphat:

Pam and Dennis are good people. If I remember from last year the sale prices were very low, ( I can look up their sale results in the Pinz Journal if you want me to). I think Silver Bullet is one of the leading Pinz herds in the nation. If you go let us know how it goes.

CPL, I'm going for sure so I'll let you know the results if I can rember to write it down. I can't seem to remember like I use to.

If you write down the results I'd be interested in them. We haven't gone for a few years but there are some good cows there. As with any sale there's some less than perfect cows, too. Make sure you hit the barbecue on Friday night.

Could you let us all know how it goes?

Dennis and Pam are nice people. We are having our Pinzgauer Nationals in Washington this year. We just had a meeting and their son was there. Silver Bullet is going to be donating the money from one of the animals sold at the sale to our juniors. We will use the money to purchase belt buckles, etc for the show. I'm curious to know how it goes.

I'll try my best to report back on the sale. Hopefully the wife will help me with the remembering part. :D

Sale ended about an hour ago Went pretty well I believe. Pam's pecan pie sold for $450 with all proceeds going to the juniors. I wrote all the starting bids and final bids down in my catalog so if anyone has a specific question let me know and I'll get back to you asap. I believe there were 40+ bidders either there or by phone.

Nary a thing. I wasn't on a buying trip. Just checking out the breed and breeders and trying to gather info for my decision process.
