And all this time, I thought that I was the only one that could put something down and two minutes later take me thirty minutes to find it.

Its called having a senior moment, a brain fart.

I wouldn't know DUN, I'm not a senior.........as you are! :P :P

As I kept losing my grocery list,I've taken to writeing it on my hand...do forget what the abbrevations are,but haven't lost it yet!! I sit in the Post Office lot writeing out checks for bills, and mail them immeditly, cause if they get home, they're gone!! :( :help: :( I put it down to haveing too much information in there to access it quickly..

Dun, I had baited a hole for a week to catch hogs. Corn was gone every day. The tracks in the ground were overlapping of every size. I moved one of the traps there three days ago. I have not caught a hog yet. I drive by and look across at it and the guilotine door is still up. Then bro-in-law calls me and says, when is the last time you looked CLOSELY at that trap. I told him I haven't. Then he tells me I never pulled the safety pin out of the door trip. The hogs have been all inside and taken every speck of corn, tripped the trigger, and walked right back out.

Yep. I forgot! I can't believe it. The door is tripped but hanging on the safety catch. Bro-in-law can't believe that I haven't already caught a dozen in that set. Good thing he went over to investigate! I'd probably keep doing the drive by looking at the open gate.

Very good Dun. I looked for my glasses one day for about 15 minutes before I relaized they were in my shirt pocket.

I looked for my glasses the other day, couldn't find them. Asked my wife if she had seen them. She said yes your wearing them. I knew I put them somewhere. :help: :help:

that sounds like mine. he is always looking for things he has just put down, says if it wasn't for me there would be a pile of stuff lost, asked if I had seen his glasses the other day they were on the top of his head, wouldn't mind if he had hair there  must be a man thing ;-)

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. :( I've also done the searching for the glasses thing, only to find them on top of my head. I have learned, over the years, that the quickest way to find something is to start searching for something else.

My mom always said, "look in the last place you put it", but now I find I forget what I was looking for before I ever find it!
