Need to buy one of those new fangled cameras to do that.

No you don't. That old pin hole camera that you used to take pictures of that woman in...oops...almost forgot this is a public forum.

Anyhow, that camera will work

Eeeks - it worked. Decided I would try this. I thought I could just copy from my computer file, but I couldn't. From what I see, the pic has to come off an internet site. That's why everyone was suggesting a photo place. I took mine off my web page.

I clicked the yellow button above the "post a reply" box" for "Img", than I went to my web site (leaving this page open) & right clicked on my pic, than left clicked on "properties". Than highlighted the http: full address, place the curser over the highlighted sentence & right click, left click copy.

Than open this page again, place your curser next to and right click, left click paste, than click the yellow "Img" button again.

Thats all!!!

good loking bull. is he a sim-angus or pure simmy.

Must be Sim-Holstein. Where else would the black have come from?

Believe it or not, most of the original black Simmentals came from HOLSTEINS.

I have never heard of this. Talking to most big Simmental/Simbrah Ranchers that have been in the business for many many years, the Simmentals were turned black from Angus. I personally learned this from good old #5, Tom Risinger, Risinger Ranches.

This was in Texas anyway, up north I don't know how you guys may have turned them from red and white to black.

Very good looking bull Jeanne. Thanks for the picture positng instructions. Im gonig to print them out and save them so I can try posting some pictures of our F1s one of these days.

Yeah, Yeah, I knew I would get razzed. He is a Purebred simmental. For the fun of it, I pulled his papers, and his great-great-grandmother was 1/4 Angus. No holstein in this pedigree. hmm
There are more pics of him on my web site & the classifieds on this site. These pics were taken in Nov & he was 54" tall & 2000#, with a 20.2" ribeye, at 25 months old.
Simme Valley Macho As U.

The point I was making before was that back in the 70's, holsteins were used - current Simmentals are deffinately Angus black genes. Actually, one of the hottest breeds right now is the Simmi/Angus cross. Selling for big bucks - registered 1/2 bloods. Angus people are very interested in my bull. Have a few top Angus breeders using him. He is being promoted as a "club calf" bull. Ads will be showing up soon.

Get the picture - we're REALLY proud of him. Got our first calves on the ground, and already getting repeat semen sales.
