Phyllis George on the set of "The NFL Today" in 1976. ... Her family said the cause was polycythemia vera, a rare blood cancer.
She was also the First Lady of Kentucky from 1979 to 1983. She was Miss America 1971 and Miss Texas 1970.

I must be the oldest here and the only one who watched sports back a few years ago. THe woman always had a smile on her face and I thought she was bigger than life itself. RIP to one of the nicest and pretties ladies ever.
