photo question

Somebody please tell me what size a photo is supposed to be to post it on here.

I post them at 640 x 480.

Oh, if you are using Photobucket they are sometimes slow about catching up. Meaning your picture will look over sized but will change later.

I have never had a problem with photo size other than my avatar. No idea, but I bet Hillsdown would know. Not trying to be a smart azz, I would like to know also if there is a size restriction. some sites have them, never knew CT to have one.

The size I gave DS was to where you didn't have to use the minus key in order to see the entire pic.

When I post pictures from my android about 1/3 of the right side of the photo doesn't show up.

I don't think there is a size restriction on here , however we do like a uniform size for viewing the pic on the contests (640x480). It just makes it easier for then viewers . Also if you send a pic by PM and it is huge it will get cropped , and probably not the way you want it. ;-)

Resizing on photobucket is very easy ! Just up load your pic , click on to the image ,then click edit right above the image to your left hand ,click resize and change the largest setting #, be it right or left to 640 , the other # adjusts automatically .

Yup, I'm on my iPad most of the time, same problem, only part of the pic shows up. If I want to see the whole pic I have to click it and "save image" and then view it in my photo library.... Then delete.

One of our CT members educated me on this, I can't take credit.
