Here we go....our first category will be 'Close To Home'. This can be figurative or literal

We should have a wonderful entries of local landscapes if the last day of posts on here is any indication.

figurative = a figurative word or phrase is used in a different way from its usual meaning, opposite to literal
literal = basic or original meaning

I'll put my thinking cap on. Fair to say my first interpretation of the phrase 'close to home' was not the same as yours HD, perhaps a cultural difference.

Rego, let's not complicate this tooo much ;-) . The intention of 'Close to home' was to widen the subject options for the first contest and not limit it to say just sunsets, close to home may be the tree/flower in your back garden, the landscape from your window, or something that is close to your heart(home) like children, animals etc.

Next contest will be more specific. We are still getting out feet wet and trying to see what works best for CT peeps.

I have seen great pics posted by at least 95% of the members on here and the other 5% never have posted a pic . ;-)

So lets get some more entries for this weeks contest !!!!

Don't make me beg, bribe or blackmail, but I am not above doing that either . :lol:

Btw I am calling out the ladies ,we have yet to get one entry from a female CT member ..
