I had an Angus that I got when he was 8 months old. He was so tame I could just literally tell him to go here or go there or get out of the hay pen or whatever and he would do it. As he got older he still wanted to be petted on the head, but I did learn to keep a fence in between us.

I have a friend who has the same relationship with his hereford bull.

That happened not to far from me , there was a news report the other day that the bull will be put down.

What are the opinions of the breed of bull ?

The breed is immaterial - bulls will be bulls, and that goes for any breed. When you make the decision to make a pet out of an animal that outweighs you by as much as most breeds of cattle do, you're sending an engraved invitation for trouble.
