I know the feed store lost a bag chunker , owner says he complained about them still being open.
We've lost a employee who just quit coming in.
His sot also works for me and said dad was just sitting around the house.

The little store I stop at lost 3 the same day. Owner Said they where scared of getting the Kung flu.

There's been zero cases so far in the immediate area. As far my guys they work 100 percent outdoor. 85 percent in rural areas. And I've started making everyone take their own vehicle instead of a crew being stuffed in a truck. And we're even giving a little gas allowance

What do think......I think they hear the feed truck a coming.

Yep, why work when everyone else gets to sit at home, and "work?"

A prelude to socialism.

Man was not made to sit idle, and if people don't get back to work we're going to have a bigger problem in this country than Beer Flu.

I dont see a problem with it if they are concerned about their health. No job is worth the risk. If it were the other way around the job would cut them loose in a heart beat.

I would hope both sides would work on a mutual agreement that benefits both sides given the odd circumstances.

Some of my family has a business and they were trying to stay open. The workforce is mainly older and told them they did not feel comfortable working right now. They could have fired them and moved on. They chose to shut down for the time being.

Let's hope medical , police, firefighters,Ems , truck drivers, utility companies grocery stores, banks, gas stations etc. Etc. Don't decide the same....a person certainly has the right to leave a job if it scares them. They also shouldn't expect to come back. And I don't think any of the ones I listed was all that scared. Gaurnteed loan forgiveness, utility forgiveness, rent forgiveness , unemployment and them flu checks are causing the wolf sightings.

I wouldn't know how to start. If you can find out would you let me know..

We are picking up extra shifts and working overtime here. I have gotten emails from NY and IL requesting relocation to help meet the tremendous demand in those places. Opportunities abound for some and I also understand why many are fearful. Some live and die boldly. Some live and die cautiously. Takes all kinds.

A lot of those people are working jobs they already are at high risk in.Doubt a virus would worry them anymore. There are,of course, exceptions.

Kroger grocery company giving employees $2 more per hour hazard pay. Many warehouse workers working 7 days a week and as much as 16 hour days.

A raise in salary would cure a lot of ills.

Rewarding the herd doesn't work, it's temporary compliance.
Incentive programs are only driven by the few driven to exceed.

After being supervision over 2K people a day you know about 10% of the workforce on site. The 5% constantly in trouble with one foot out the door and the 5% that drive the expectations . That 5% is usually really hated by the other 5%.
