Pathetic bull

I have a neighbor that just brought in the absolutely most pathetic specimen of a bull I believe I have ever seen . A bwf that at 18 months is too small to reach his cows, actually viewed this, he fell over backwards . I watched as he missed a full calving season with his previous bull and told him his cows weren't getting bred. I certainly don't want to hurt his feelings but I hate to see this , and would hate it even more if he found his way into my pasture and found something to stand on! This one could be a poster child for a hamburger package . I know he won't listen to me but I may talk to his son. What do you think , forget it and mind my own business ?

I learned that lesson many years ago, but it still doesn;t always help me to keep my mouth shut. What's worse is when someone asks, "what do you think?". I figure since they asked they really want to know. A bit naive of me I know.

I'm of the same mind. Figure they asked for a reason and want the answer, whether they like it or not.

Been my observation, that people that have cattle are pretty thick skinned anyway.
People with other animals...not so much..
My b-i-l raises hair sheep and some kind of goats. When I told him his sheep needed to be dewormed, you'd think I had told him his daughters were ugly. (they aren't, but that's beside the point)

Thanks everyone , each comment pretty much mirrors my thoughts. It's a catch 22 kinda thing , if his cows ain't bred, I'm afraid my bull might get in there , when I bring him in. Danged if you do and don't . I think a hot wire might be my best choice and forget it.

It's never the animal's fault. There might be hope for the son, if he can brake free from the old man's influence.

Guess I'm lucky to have good neighbors. My neighbor will call me over to look when he gets a new bull. When he asks me what I think of him, I'll say something along the lines of, "Well I reckon he's all right as long as the mangy, squirrel nutted, bony thing stays on his side of the fence, not that he is in good enough shape to settle anything, but no telling what diseases he has." And then he will say something along the lines of, "Well, if he tries to get over the fence it sure won't be to get anything to eat, and I don't imagine them cows of yours are even coming in heat anyway, not that he would be able to smell any of them for the thistle seed blowing up his nose from over there."
