How about I send you 80 cows and 100 calves for the winter and I will have a vacation. You can really have fun then. :lol2:
Heck KT he won't notice an extra pot load or 2 so go ahead and ship them to him
he has all that wheat pasture and corn to turn em out on
oh and you can come help bale and wrap about the 10th of April at Jed's and we will just make it a yrly meeting place Jed said something about baling 200 acres of wheat

With those fancy cab tractors you-all have with the windows not broke it should be no problem. Do I get to rake with the dual wheel 200hp JD?
Darn it, April, I have to work on the job. :D

I am sure some of Jed's hands can knock a window out for ya

sure thing heck if ya want we might talk Jed into hooking up the 8420 to the rake

I think April will be wet enough you can get a few days off from fighting fires or at least call in sick
Heck if we get anymore equipment that I have to haul back and forth I am gonna have to take 2 trucks and trailers

Hey AC didn't you just get done putting up a hay shed? Don't tell me you're gonna wrap em and then stack em in the shed!

I have several hay barns
Jed and I have the same problem of getting our rye and wheat dry enough to bale so I had all mine wrapped as baleage this yr and we got to talking and Jed said he would like to do his also
so we have been on the look out for a wrapper
so we bought this one and I will go bale his rye in April and then come home and bale mine the next week and then I will use it for my millet in july and then repeat the process

How do you like baleage? I've never had any but have always tossed the idea around.

I haven't used any myself but a few neighbors that have really like it and I could see a big difference in the looks of their cows
I am hoping by feeding the baleage this winter my calves will get some extra growth to them by spring
